Avi Kaplan, known as Avi on Twitter, is a musician and former member of the a cappella group Pentatonix. Born on April 17, 1989, in Visalia, California, Avi joined Pentatonix in 2011 and gained recognition for his deep bass vocals. He was with the group for six years, winning three Grammy Awards and releasing multiple albums.
Avi started his solo career in 2017, exploring a folk, Americana, and gospel sound in his music. He released his debut EP titled "Sage and Stone" in June 2017, followed by his full-length album "I'll Get By" in 2019.
